PARENTS

PARENT NETWORK

Whether it’s help with school selection, exam support, extra-curricular activities, work experience, or addressing race-based concerns within school, ACEN exists to support young people and their families in accessing positive and empowering educational experiences.

One of the key ways we do this is through community networks. By registering, you’ll be able to connect with other parents in our network and access shared knowledge and opportunities.

We regularly receive information about programmes, initiatives, and events aimed at Black students and families. These are compiled and shared in our bi-weekly newsletter, which registered members receive.

Registered members have access to:

  • A member discussion group
  • An exam support group
  • A fortnightly newsletter sharing our latest initiatives alongside community-focused, school and workplace opportunities and events
  • Parent webinars and in-person events
  • Networking & social events
