Serena

Advisory & Safeguarding Lead

Serena is an Educational Consultant offering private tuition, small group classes, and consultancy services. Serena is a qualified school teacher with 10 years’ experience in the independent school sector.  As Head of Inclusion and Enrichment at her previous school, Serena was responsible for managing the provision for children requiring additional academic ‘stretch’ and also for those children with barriers to their learning, due to special educational needs. Before joining the education sector, Serena enjoyed a decade working in not-for-profit organisations, championing children’s rights and racial equality. Serena holds a PGCE with Distinction from Canterbury Christchurch University, a Post Graduate Diploma in Law and a BA Honours in International Relations and Politics.

Serena lives in South London with her husband and two children. In her spare time, she loves long walks and writing. She is currently working on her first middle-grade children’s novel

Kendal

Lead Tutor

Kendal is an Assistant Head of Year 4 at an independent school in North London. She has over five years of professional experience in classroom teaching and three years in tutoring. She has a proven track record in both KS2 SATs and 11 plus entry exams. Her pupils have entered schools such as City of London, Highgate, and Westminster.

Kendal holds a BSC in Sport & Exercise Sciences from the University of Leeds and a PGCE with a science specialism degree from the University of Warwick.

In her spare time, Kendal enjoys ceramics, cycling, and yoga. She is a qualified children’s yoga instructor and takes weekly after-school clubs specialising in yoga and well-being.

Azaria

Tutor & Enrichment Lead

Azaria has over 8 years’ combined experience working as a private tutor and teacher in a Saturday School. She has experience tutoring students at key exam points, including 11+, KS1 and KS2 SATs and GCSE, and has supported students in raising their attainment by as much as 3-grade points in the course of a year. Her pupils have received offered to competitive schools such as Trinity, City of London & Westminister.

She also has a range of experience working with universities across the UK in equality and diversity and is currently co-designing a mental health programme for the Black community in Wandsworth.

Azaria holds a 1st Class Honours degree in BA Social and Cultural Studies from Goldsmiths, University of London.

Outside of work, Azaria is a keen netballer and enjoys running, reading, yoga, and watching comedy shows.
