The ACEN Parent Summit, now in its second year (more information on our inaugural summit here) will provide parents and students with the opportunity to learn about the end-to-end process required to access independent and grammar schools. This will incorporate all entry points including 4+, 7+, 10+, 11+ & 13+.

Not only will the admissions advice be provided directly by the schools themselves, but you will have access to a panel of current students and experienced Black parents who have recently navigated the system, and who have children currently in the independent and grammar sectors.

Tutors specialising in grammar and independent school exam preparation across all entry points will also be providing crucial information on all aspects of exam preparation and will be keen to answer your questions.

There’s something for the children too! We are pleased to be able to provide the opportunity to gain a taster of the topics and techniques that they would need to cover when preparing for the exams. We will have some online and paper-based activities available for them to try.

Refreshments and a light lunch are also included in the price.

Children over the age of 7 are welcome and their attendance is free. Unfortunately, we can not cater to children below this age.

Families with children on pupil premium can also register to attend for free.
